Ed's business model differs markedly from retailers. Soon after founding the business in 1989, Ed had the good fortune of having Peter Glen, the famed merchandising genius, as a customer. When told that Ed had been advised to get a warehouse and to start taking on lines, Mr. Glen challenged the assumption. Ed came to realize that if he wanted to be free to select the best equipment for each client he could not be burdened with inventory or beholden to distribution quotas.
Almost twenty years later, Ed's relationships with manufacturers and select distributors enables him to purchase a variety of the finest components on the market and provide customers with full factory warranties.
